BIRD WATCHING

I work in a multi-story building in the Metro area. I, also, happen to sit close to the windows. I sometimes watch the birds flying around. My favorite bird watching is when the Red-tailed Hawk(s) float by on the air currents around the building. It is such a thrill to be high enough in the building to watch them from their level. The other birds I can watch are the ducks and geese that swim around on the retention pond. I sometimes wish I had binoculars to get a better view of them. Before long my view of the pond will be diminished by the trees with their new leaves. Until then I will enjoy my bird watching.
