PELICAN(S) ARE BACK
So this morning started off with one pelican hunting for something to eat on the retention pond at work. It ended up with a total of five swimming around together checking the pond for munchies. It was cool to watch them. When you have more than one looking for food, they look like they swim in formation. It has been an enjoyable morning of bird watching.

that sounds amazing. you know? ive never seen a pelican up close in my 31 years. Not even in a zoo.
However i find them fascinating animals. Beautiful, too. I dont think people appreciate pelicans enough, or all birds at all. I dont understand it, they absolutely fascinate me in ways that are probably not understandable. I go bird watching everytime i can. My house is full of bird paintings, they are gorgeous creatures aren't they?
